Job Summary

This role is for a highly skilled Environmental Laboratory Technician to join the specialized team at Chempark Leverkusen on a permanent contract. The primary responsibilities involve conducting complex chemical analyses, focusing on the determination of organic substances and sum parameters like TOC. Daily tasks include utilizing advanced analytical instrumentation such as GC/MS, GC/FID, HPLC, and LC/MS. The technician will be responsible for evaluating the resulting measurement data using relevant software, including Chromeleon, entering validated results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and reporting critical values. Success in this position requires a completed qualification as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical Technician, coupled with relevant professional experience and strict adherence to quality assurance standards (DIN 17025). The ability and willingness to work in a full continuous alternating shift system is a mandatory requirement for this specialized position.
