Job Summary
This is an excellent career opportunity for a Junior Onsite IT Technician to join an IT Support team, starting in January 2026, supporting a major industrial client in Munich. The role focuses on providing comprehensive 1st and 2nd Level Onsite Support to end-users, covering installation, maintenance, and repair of IT devices. Key responsibilities include managing Windows 10/11 environments, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The technician will also be involved in IT Asset Management, supporting rollouts, and meticulous documentation of processes. Success in this role requires a service-oriented mindset, strong teamwork skills, and excellent communication abilities in both German and English, as close collaboration with a central Service Desk team in Italy is essential. This position offers continuous training and development within exciting digital transformation projects.
Required Skills
Education
Completed IT apprenticeship or comparable qualification
Experience
- Initial professional experience in IT support is desired
- Experience with Windows Client and Server operating systems
- Experience with configuration and maintenance of WLAN handheld scanners
- Experience managing Windows-based print servers and printers
- Knowledge of structured cabling and patching in network cabinets
- Experience using common ticketing systems
