Job Summary

This role is perfect for a skilled IT Administrator focused on maintaining and evolving critical Linux server and database infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include the planning, installation, and comprehensive maintenance of Linux servers (RHEL, Debian), including fault analysis and lifecycle management. A key component of the role involves managing, optimizing, operating, and securing various database systems such as PostgreSQL and potentially Oracle. The successful candidate must possess a completed IT qualification, extensive experience operating Linux servers, and proficiency in documentation and infrastructure development. Knowledge of scripting (Bash, Perl) and monitoring tools (PRTG, NAGIOS) is highly beneficial. This position requires structured, independent work, a high degree of responsibility, and good German language skills (B2 minimum), offering flexible working models including flextime and remote work.
