Job Summary

This Data Engineer role involves taking a key position in developing and optimizing data-driven processes for a leading German news and advice platform. The professional will be instrumental in designing and implementing innovative solutions for ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and machine learning models within a modern cloud environment. Day-to-day tasks include building and operating real-time data pipelines, developing interfaces to external systems (like REST APIs and Google Analytics), and automating testing and deployment for data models and ML applications. A core responsibility is ensuring high data quality, managing Big Data infrastructure components (e.g., ClickHouse, Kinesis), and actively participating in a DevOps team, including on-call duties.
