Job Summary
This leadership role involves managing the Textile Ecology teams across multiple fashion brands, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance. The Team Lead will be responsible for commissioning and evaluating physical and chemical quality tests conducted by international suppliers and external laboratories in production countries. Key duties include ensuring adherence to European and national legal requirements (such as REACH and TKVO), developing chemical and physical textile standards, and optimizing quality control processes through digitalization. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Chemistry or Textile Ecology, multi-year experience in quality management within the textile industry, and proficiency in relevant regulatory frameworks like Oeko-Tex 100. This position is based in Isernhagen near Hannover and requires a passionate individual with strong communication skills to manage internal and external interfaces, driving continuous improvement in textile quality and sustainability.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Chemistry or Textile Ecology, or comparable training (e.g., Textile Laboratory Technician) with relevant professional experience
Experience
- Multi-year experience in Quality Management, ideally in the textile industry
- Professional experience in commissioning and evaluating physical and chemical quality tests
- Experience in regulatory compliance (REACH, TKVO)
- Initial leadership experience preferred
