Job Summary

This leadership role involves coordinating and overseeing the technical operations of electricity and gas metering for the ELE Group, ensuring reliable service for customers in the Bottrop, Gelsenkirchen, and Gladbeck region. The Team Leader manages a 25-person team, including direct reports and technical masters/fitters, focusing on the entire lifecycle of metering devices—from system-side order creation and installation/removal to remote reading and warehouse management. A key responsibility is driving the strategy and implementation of the Smart Meter Rollout, ensuring strict adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, such as § 14a EnWG regarding controllability. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, possesses multi-year experience in metering and measurement technology, and demonstrates strong leadership competence, commercial acumen, and project management skills necessary to optimize workflows and manage external service providers efficiently. This position is crucial for the digitalization and climate-friendly energy transition initiatives of the ELE Group.
