Job Summary

This role involves providing essential IT support and administration for the Hochsauerlandkreis district administration, which operates a large local network (LAN) across multiple sites, serving approximately 1,400 workstations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing client systems (centralized administration of decentralized IT infrastructure), handling specialized administration for various professional applications, and serving as the primary contact for the User Help-Desk. You will be responsible for first-level support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate must have a completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist (Application Development or System Integration), coupled with comprehensive knowledge of networking, communications technology, current Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office products. This is a full-time, permanent, and crisis-proof position based in Meschede, with potential temporary assignments in Arnsberg and Brilon for coverage.
