Job Summary

This role is for an expert Red Team Penetration Tester joining one of Europe's largest banking IT service providers, dedicated to securing the digital landscape of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. You will be responsible for the comprehensive planning and execution of advanced security tests against the company's heterogeneous networks, infrastructure, and self-developed applications. A key focus is simulating realistic, strategic attack scenarios based on frameworks like TIBER-EU. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting security audits, performing Threat Intelligence-based risk analyses, and advising internal White Teams during formal TIBER tests. The position requires a minimum of six years of professional experience in information security, a relevant degree in Informatics, and deep expertise in deriving effective countermeasures from simulated attacks. This is a critical position supporting security management and incident response, requiring strong communication skills to convey complex security topics across the organization.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in (Business) Informatics with a focus on Information Security or comparable qualification. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSAM, OSCE, GPEN, OSCP, CEH) are desirable.

Experience

  • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience
  • Profound experience in planning and executing strategic and operational exercise attack scenarios in the IT environment
