Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Process Engineer, taking technological ownership of manufacturing processes within electronics production, specifically focusing on soldering technologies like wave and selective soldering. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing product support, optimizing production processes considering quality, cost, and deadlines, and managing the procurement and commissioning of manufacturing equipment. The engineer will also be crucial in New Product Introduction (NPI), creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation, and acting as a key interface between R&D, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Production. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, at least five years of professional experience in electronics manufacturing with a focus on soldering, and strong proficiency in English. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical study program

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in electronics manufacturing focusing on soldering technologies
  • Professional experience with soldering equipment, process parameters, and solder joint optimization
  • Experience in machine procurement, including specification creation and supplier selection
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Experience in interdisciplinary project teams (ideal)
