Job Summary

This role involves leading a Human Resources working group responsible for managing the scientific support staff at Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU). Day-to-day tasks include providing technical leadership to a team of up to five employees, resolving complex HR issues, advising both staff and management on German labor law matters, and coordinating personnel actions throughout the employee lifecycle, such as hiring, contract extensions, and working hour changes. The successful candidate must possess a university degree in Administrative Sciences or Law, coupled with extensive professional experience in HR management, ideally within the public sector, and initial leadership experience. Deep knowledge of German labor and collective bargaining law is essential. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/FH Diploma) in Administrative Sciences, Law, or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on Human Resources or Law.
