Job Summary

This role involves working as a Backend Developer, supporting projects for Deutsche Bahn, focusing on building and enhancing a high-performance booking and ticketing platform. The core responsibilities include developing Microservices backends within a Cloud environment, integrating complex booking and payment processes, and ensuring high standards for security, performance, and scalability. A key focus is the transition to a modern Cloud architecture utilizing CI/CD and comprehensive test automation. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, at least three years of experience as a Lead Developer in complex IT projects, and strong expertise in Java EE, DevOps, and various modern database technologies. This position offers an unlimited contract and the opportunity to work on mission-critical systems in a technically demanding environment, while also providing coaching and guidance to technical teams.
