Job Summary

This role involves managing and monitoring customs regulations for all shipments across the EMEA region, ensuring full compliance with international trade laws. Key responsibilities include conducting customs tariff classification, determining customs valuation for goods, and documenting the origin of merchandise. The specialist will actively support the implementation of the Customs Compliance Management System and Internal Control System, while coordinating extensively with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal departments. The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in International Business or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent professional experience, coupled with several years of experience in customs compliance. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory, alongside strong analytical skills and proficiency with Trade Compliance software and Microsoft Office.
