This role involves acting as a Project Manager within the Federal Office of Justice (BfJ) to conceptualize and coordinate the establishment of a centralized IT License Management system. The primary goal is to optimize the cost-efficient and needs-based deployment of software. Day-to-day tasks include developing existing concepts, establishing legally compliant structures, documenting license inventories, evaluating license models, and potentially implementing a Software Asset Tool. The specialist will also manage procurement processes, establish internal knowledge management, and serve as the main point of contact between IT, administration, and external service providers. This is a crucial, three-year fixed-term position driving digitalization within a major federal authority, requiring strong problem-solving skills, project coordination ability, and expertise in license management.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Administrative Sciences, Law, Economics, Information Technology, or a comparable degree relevant to the activities.

Experience

  • Professional experience or training (e.g., TÜV Certificate) in the field of License Management
  • Desirable: Professional experience in IT Project Management
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Procurement Law
