Job Summary

This role is for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join the IT team in Hildesheim, focusing on maintaining and enhancing the IT infrastructure for a large charitable foundation. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling and resolving IT incidents and service requests through 1st and 2nd level support, providing technical assistance to employees on-site, via phone, and remotely, and managing the installation and configuration of workstations, peripherals, and software. A key component of the role is operating according to ITIL processes, managing Incident, Problem, Change, Access, and Asset management, and ensuring high-quality documentation. The specialist will also contribute to IT projects, such as system rollouts and infrastructure expansion. Candidates must have a relevant IT qualification or equivalent expertise, strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft 365, and practical experience with ticketing systems. Required Skills

Education

Vocational training in an IT-related field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or equivalent professional knowledge. MS certifications for administrative tasks in the Microsoft Tenant are preferred.
