Job Summary
This crucial role involves strategic asset management and technical planning for high and extra-high voltage power grids within the Mainzer Netze GmbH. The specialist will focus on optimizing grid expansion strategies to effectively integrate societal changes such as the energy transition, digitalization, and mobility shift. Day-to-day tasks include strategic network planning, managing annual and mid-term investment and maintenance budgets, and performing detailed network calculations for dimensioning and evaluation. Furthermore, the position requires developing standards for the operation of electrical distribution networks and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal regulations and technical standards, particularly DIN VDE. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electrical Power Engineering/Power Grids and bring at least five years of dedicated experience in high-voltage networks and network calculation tools, including SAP. This position is vital for securing the future reliability and efficiency of the regional power infrastructure.
