Job Summary

This role involves taking a central position in the strategic and operational management of IT contracts and suppliers. The IT Vendor Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT service providers, optimizing cost structures, and ensuring compliance and quality standards are consistently met. Daily tasks include managing license agreements, handling budget management for various service and maintenance costs, supporting tenders, and negotiating and concluding IT contracts and SLAs (covering hosting, housing, services, projects, and telecommunications). The ideal candidate brings proven experience in IT Vendor Management or IT Purchasing, excellent knowledge of IT contract law (data protection, software, hardware, cloud services), and strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor transitions and complex agreements.
