Join a world-leading integrated operator in power generation, Ansaldo Energia, as a Development Engineer focused on Turbine Cooling in Baden, Switzerland. This crucial role involves designing and optimizing cooling systems for critical turbine components like blades, vanes, and heat shields. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing complex 3D thermal state analyses, specifying rigorous laboratory and real engine tests for validation, and collaborating closely with secondary flow and mechanical teams to enhance gas turbine performance and component lifetime. You will also develop new cooling methods, processes, and tools. Candidates must hold a degree in mechanical engineering and possess at least three years of industrial or research experience, coupled with deep knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
