This role involves the chemical analysis of microalgae and marine samples, primarily for the "PhytoComplement" project, which aims to identify and cultivate microalgae as feed additives in aquaculture. You will be responsible for sample preparation, performing analyses using GC-FID and spectrophotometry, and maintaining analytical instruments. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge in wet chemical and instrumental analysis, experience with biological/organic sample preparation, and familiarity with gas chromatographic systems.
