Job Summary
This role involves leading and managing the Security Operations Center (SOC) team for one of Germany's largest IT service providers in the public sector, focusing on enhancing the security and efficiency of the IT infrastructure for German pension insurance carriers. The Team Lead will be responsible for the disciplinary, organizational, and technical leadership of the SOC, ensuring the protection of the information network for NOW IT GmbH and its clients. Key responsibilities include planning and monitoring resources, overseeing the quality of monitoring and support activities, and continuously developing and optimizing security systems and processes. The ideal candidate must possess a university degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, expertise in IT forensics, IT security laws (BSI IT Baseline Protection, KRITIS-VO), and proven experience in staff leadership and IT security management implementation. This position offers a challenging environment at the intersection of public service and modern IT security, with options for partial remote work.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science or Information Technology; ideally a degree in IT Security/Information Technology or a comparable field.

- Professional experience in IT security and information technology
