Computer Scientist / Software Developer (HMI) | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves the crucial development and enhancement of the data management and business logic for the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) of Liebherr's gear cutting machines. The Computer Scientist will work closely with application engineering, testing, and training departments to align and optimize the user interface, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience. Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining interfaces between the frontend and backend, specifically connecting to machine controls (PLC and NC). The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent long-term professional experience in software development, coupled with strong expertise in C#, WPF, and database programming. Experience with machine tools and Siemens controls, particularly Sinumerik One or 840D Solution Line, is highly desirable.
