Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the High/Medium Voltage Asset Management division, overseeing a team of ten grid planners for a regional distribution network operator. The core focus involves driving the strategic development of the High Voltage (HV) network asset strategy, including defining strategic investment, renewal, and maintenance concepts for HV lines and substations. The successful candidate will manage long-term grid development and target grid planning for Medium and High Voltage networks, while spearheading the digitalization and smartification strategy. This position requires a degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering, professional experience in asset management and grid planning, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to lead projects and initiatives efficiently within a network technology environment. The role is crucial for ensuring the reliable functionality of a 36,000 km power grid and enabling a climate-friendly energy future.
