Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Avacon Netz GmbH in Salzgitter as a Project Manager, specializing in the construction and modification of high-voltage customer substations related to Renewable Energy Sources (EEG). The core focus of the role is managing the secondary technology, including grid protection, telecontrol, and control systems. Daily tasks involve leading interdisciplinary (sub-)projects, developing customized technical and special solutions in collaboration with the project team, calculating offers, and coordinating the entire realization process across various interfaces. You will be responsible for budget management, scheduling, and ensuring strict adherence to high standards of work safety, quality, and budget compliance throughout all project phases, requiring both office work and on-site steering. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering and possesses proven experience in managing complex electrical construction projects, particularly involving high/medium voltage systems and renewable energy connections. Fluency in German is a mandatory requirement.
