Job Summary
This leadership role involves managing the Digitalization and IT division within the Stuttgart Building Authority, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of all necessary digital and technical resources. The Head of Division will lead a team of nine employees, overseeing the implementation of the digitalization strategy, business process management, change management, and the strategic introduction of Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology. Key responsibilities include coordinating IT projects, managing the IuK budget, defining hardware/software requirements, and providing IT consultation, particularly regarding the implementation of the construction management software RIB iTWO. The ideal candidate requires a university degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, along with significant professional experience in IT leadership and the described technical domains, contributing fundamentally to the city's construction and renovation projects.
Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific university degree (Diploma/Master) in Computer Science or a comparable technical, engineering, or natural science field, or a completed university degree (Bachelor) with corresponding professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in the described technical IT fields
- Leadership experience in an IT environment is desirable
- Professional experience in city-wide IT processes is desirable
