Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity for a qualified Reproduction Biologist to join the University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD), one of the leading medical centers in North Rhine-Westphalia. The role, based in the Department of Gynecology / UniKID, is a permanent, part-time position (19.25 hours per week) starting January 1, 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all relevant activities within the IVF laboratory, including the autonomous handling of gametes and embryos. A key component of the role involves conducting scientific research tasks and participating in clinical studies, contributing to the UKD's mission of combining clinical care with cutting-edge research. Candidates must hold a Master's degree (or equivalent Diploma) in Biology or a related field such as Human Biology or Biotechnology. While practical experience in an IVF lab is desirable, it is not mandatory; however, strong proficiency in German (C1 minimum) and professional English skills are required. Experience with data processing systems like MediTEX® and knowledge of relevant legal frameworks (e.g., AMG, TPG) are highly valued.
