Job Summary

The University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD) is seeking a dedicated User Coordinator for the Institute for Transplantation Diagnostics and Cell Therapeutics (ITZ) to manage the planning phase of a major central laboratory construction project. This pivotal role involves acting as the primary representative for ITZ interests, coordinating complex requirements between the building owners, laboratory planners, medical technology teams, and IT partners. A major focus will be integrating highly specific user requirements, including strict standards for Laboratory, GMP, SoHO, and ATMP environments, into the planning processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and coordinating intricate approval procedures and amendments under various federal and EU regulations (e.g., AMG, TFG, AMWHV), and liaising directly with competent state and federal authorities, such as the Paul Ehrlich Institute. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in life sciences and extensive experience navigating GMP-regulated settings and regulatory interactions, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future medical infrastructure at a leading German institution.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, Pharmacy, or Engineering. Completed PhD in Biosciences, Immunology, or related fields is desired.

Experience

  • Experience dealing with regulatory authorities, ideally in the pharmaceutical and biological materials sector
