Job Summary

This role involves taking full technical and personnel responsibility for electrical installations and complex systems, including 10 KV transformer stations, across the Stuttgart University campuses. Day-to-day, the Master Electrician will lead a team of electrical fitters, ensuring the continuous, smooth operation and development of campus facilities. Key tasks include performing cross-trade inspections, maintenance, and repair work on technical systems, troubleshooting complex technical faults, and supervising external contractors during necessary maintenance. A core responsibility is conducting mandated electrical testing according to DGUV A3 and DIN VDE standards, and meticulous documentation of all completed services. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Master Electrician or equivalent, coupled with several years of professional experience, ideally within technical Facility Management. Knowledge of control technology and high-voltage systems up to 10 KV is beneficial.
