Job Summary
This role involves leading challenging and complex IT and e-Government projects for the City of Stuttgart's Office for Digitalization, Organization, and IT (DO.IT). The Project Manager will drive the digital transformation of the city administration, focusing on modernizing and expanding services within the 'Digital Move Stuttgart' strategy. Key responsibilities include managing the implementation of the E-File Input Management system, planning and executing new citizen-oriented online services (especially in the context of the Online Access Act - OZG), and ensuring projects meet scope, quality, cost, and deadline requirements. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Informatics or a related field, combined with multi-year professional experience in project and process management, utilizing both conventional and agile methodologies, preferably within the e-Government sector. Strong communication skills and fluent German (C1 level) are essential for success in this high-impact, public-sector role.
Required Skills
Education
University degree, preferably in Informatics, or a comparable degree. Alternatively, civil servants of the higher information technology service with equivalent qualifications.
Experience
- Multi-year relevant professional experience
- Experience in project and process management
- Secure handling of conventional and agile methods in IT project implementation
- Experience with e-Government projects (preferred)
