Job Summary
This Doctoral Researcher position offers a compelling opportunity to contribute scientific expertise to inflammation and infection research within the Jorch Lab. The core project investigates the mechanisms of immune cell activation and recruitment, specifically analyzing immune cell interactions in the liver during systemic *Staphylococcus aureus* infections using advanced models. Day-to-day tasks involve isolating and co-culturing primary immune cells, utilizing established mouse infection models, performing intravital microscopy of the liver, and processing complex proteomic data. Candidates must hold a very good Master's degree in a relevant life science field and possess solid practical knowledge of fundamental molecular, biochemical, and immunological techniques, alongside experience handling mice.
