Job Summary
This role involves working as a Technical Assistant within the Core Facility (CoF) Histology at the University of Tübingen's Medical Faculty, one of Germany's largest medical research institutions. The professional will be responsible for providing high-quality, high-throughput histological services using modern, fully automated systems. Key daily tasks include tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, immunohistochemical and routine staining, and digital slide scanning followed by data analysis using AI-based software. The position requires a completed qualification as a Medical Technical Laboratory Assistant (MTLA) or Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) and good proficiency in both German (B2) and written/spoken English.
