Job Summary

This role seeks a creative and reliable Electrical Engineer to join the High-Voltage Asset Management department in Salzgitter, focusing on grid connection processing within the Avacon Netz GmbH high-voltage network. The Asset Management team is crucial for the future of high-voltage lines and substations, forming the backbone of the energy transition. Day-to-day responsibilities involve developing technical specifications for planning, construction, operation, and condition assessment of high-voltage lines, with a primary focus on developing and evaluating grid replacement and expansion options. A key aspect is collaborating with customers to develop grid connection variants. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, an interest in the energy transition, and ideally, prior experience with high-voltage lines. This position offers diverse technical and project tasks, providing opportunities to acquire expert knowledge in strategic and operational network development within the E.ON Group.
