Job Summary

This leadership role involves spearheading the technological development of the high-voltage network, which forms the backbone of the energy transition in the region. The successful candidate will provide disciplinary and professional leadership to a team of engineering professionals, actively shaping the future of the high-voltage grid towards sustainability and climate neutrality. Key responsibilities include developing alternative solutions for integrating renewable energies and high-capacity customers into the network, deriving mid- to long-term investment strategies based on technical necessities, and coordinating projects and technical details with other network operators. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in high-voltage systems, and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships, including customers, authorities, and internal E.ON expert groups, while driving technological advancement within the Avacon grid.
