Job Summary

This role is for a skilled System Engineer specializing in Managed Scheduling on the IBM Mainframe z/OS platform, working within the Infrastructure Backbone Services Tribe focused on Automation and Deployment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in evolving the automation platform, specifically designing and implementing applications and processes that enable users to create and operate their own automations. Key day-to-day activities include building and administering tools like IBM Z Workload Scheduler and Stonebranch Universal Agent, integrating them into the Workload Automation Platform, and actively optimizing team processes through scripting and automation to minimize manual tasks. The position requires a proactive, curious individual with a background in Computer Science or equivalent, strong programming skills, and a commitment to high-quality IT systems. Fluency in German (C1) and good English (B2) are essential, and the role includes mandatory 24/7 on-call duty.
