Job Summary

This is a pivotal leadership role as Vice President IT Security within one of Germany's largest IT service providers, focusing on strategically building and structurally realigning the entire security division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative, scalable security services, including the conception and operation of a Managed Security Operations Center (SOC) and SIEM integration. Day-to-day tasks involve strategic leadership, team building, overseeing vulnerability management and automated penetration testing, and developing new security products for clients. The role requires deep technical understanding in areas like Azure Security, SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk), modern architectures, and a strong affinity for new technologies like Generative AI in a security context. This position is ideal for an experienced security leader who thrives on strategic responsibility, team development, and shaping the future of cybersecurity for a large and diverse client base.
