IT Operations Analyst - Infrastructure | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves joining the Infrastructure team in Freiburg, focusing on maintaining and optimizing critical IT systems. The IT Operations Analyst will be responsible for continuous monitoring and performance analysis of networks, servers, storage, backup, and cloud systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and proposing optimization strategies. A key part of the job includes planning and executing infrastructure projects such as migrations, upgrades, and integrations, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery. Day-to-day tasks also involve complex incident analysis, troubleshooting, and resolving technical challenges, alongside supporting strategic decisions by creating infrastructure reports and upgrade recommendations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification, possesses at least five years of enterprise IT experience, and is proficient in both German (Fluent) and English (Basic/Intermediate). This position requires a strong technical background in server administration, networking, virtualization, and automation, coupled with a hands-on, customer-oriented approach.
