Job Summary

This role involves transforming data into tangible value within the Data Analytics Team of a leading German insurer, focusing specifically on the 'Drive' auto-leasing offering. The Data Scientist will be responsible for the conception, development, implementation, and continuous optimization of data-driven models, such as customer-vehicle matching and affinity analyses, to identify customer preferences in the vehicle leasing context. A key focus is the application of modern Causal AI and Treatment Effect models to optimize targeting, marketing, and sales strategies across the customer journey. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field, strong Python programming skills, and practical experience with scalable Machine Learning solutions, ideally including Causal Machine Learning and Recommender Systems.
