Job Summary
This role seeks a technically proficient Electrical Engineer or Physicist to drive sales and manage key accounts for a global leader in high-precision optoelectronic components and system solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end sales, from individual quote generation and contract negotiation to successful closing, focusing on innovative products within a defined territory and strategic key accounts. Day-to-day tasks include proactive new customer acquisition, developing effective sales strategies in collaboration with the Group Leader, and conducting market development initiatives. This position requires strong negotiation skills, the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information, and a high degree of organizational talent for managing sales projects with long decision cycles. The role is fully remote (100% home office), preferably located in the greater Düsseldorf area or North Rhine-Westphalia, offering excellent flexibility and autonomy.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Photonics, or a comparable technical field. Alternatively, a degree with an economic focus combined with very good technical understanding.
Experience
- Initial experience in technical sales is advantageous (especially in physics, electrical engineering, or photonics)
- Professional experience in building and maintaining customer relationships in a high-tech environment
- Experience in managing sales projects with longer decision cycles
