Job Summary
This role involves working as an Architect/Planner within the Cyber Defense Center (CDC) for the Berlin State Administration, focusing on protecting the state network and ICT infrastructure from cyber threats. The professional will be responsible for evolving the IT security architecture, planning and developing new IT security services and network infrastructures, and providing technical frameworks for Europe-wide tenders. Key tasks include advising on advanced security technologies like SIEM, EDR, and SOAR, managing procurement, leading IT security projects, and developing BSI security profiles. The ideal candidate must possess a Master's degree or equivalent, extensive practical experience in infrastructure planning (network and assets), and comprehensive knowledge of IT security systems and network components. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or university degree, or otherwise acquired comparable knowledge and abilities
Experience
- Long-term practical experience in infrastructure planning (network and assets planning)
- Comprehensive experience with IT Security systems and network components in LAN and Security areas
- Experience with infrastructure concepts and technology strategy planning
- Experience with IT security solutions and their operation (e.g., Firewalls, Proxies, IDS/IPS, Web-Security-Gateways) (Advantageous)
- Experience with BSI Basic Protection and practical implementation of security standards (Advantageous)
- Experience with conducting Europe-wide tenders (Advantageous)
