Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Chemist or Scientist specializing in Assay Development within the In-vitro Diagnostics (IVD) sector, focusing on immunodiagnostic test applications. The professional will work in an interdisciplinary team, acting as the technical and regulatory lead across all project phases, from feasibility to production scale-up. Day-to-day tasks include designing assay formats, verifying and validating systems, developing FDA/IVDD-compliant manufacturing and testing processes, and optimizing processes for cost efficiency and production transfer. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field, possesses deep knowledge of analytical and immunodiagnostic methods, and is fluent in both German and English.
