Job Summary
This strategic leadership role involves heading the chromatography laboratory within Analytical Development Pharma at Boehringer Ingelheim, focusing on Animal Health. The Head will be responsible for leading and advancing chromatographic methods, particularly Liquid Chromatography (LC), for characterizing active ingredients, pharmaceuticals, and excipients. Key responsibilities include ensuring robust analytical results, focusing on content determination and stability profiles, and managing method validation and transfer to support global CMC dossiers and product launches. The ideal candidate must possess a PhD in Analytical Chemistry or a related field, extensive experience in chromatographic techniques, and proven leadership skills to manage teams and drive innovation within a culture of scientific excellence.
