This role involves accelerating digital transformation within clinical development by bridging business objectives with advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. The Postdoctoral Business Analyst will be responsible for translating business insights and needs into a digital strategy, focusing specifically on developing AI-enabled solutions and processes for clinical data processing. Day-to-day tasks include eliciting and analyzing business requirements across the end-to-end patient data flow, conducting ROI assessments for AI solutions, and developing business process models for future AI-enabled states. The analyst will collaborate closely with AI engineers and data analysts to design real-time data flows, ensuring all solutions comply with GCP, regulatory requirements, and data privacy standards. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong technical background and an understanding of clinical development who is eager to drive AI adoption in a global biopharma setting.
Required Skills
Education
Advanced degree (PostDoc level) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field with demonstrated AI/ML application experience
Experience
- Professional experience in requirements gathering and translating business needs into technical solutions through academic research, projects, or industry experience
- Understanding of clinical development
- Experience in a life sciences or pharmaceutical business (Preferred)
- Experience in AI strategy development, digital transformation projects, or applying AI technologies to business process improvement (Preferred)
- Experience with business process modeling (Preferred)
