Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Customized Solutions department of a Berlin-based family company specializing in high-tech laboratory measurement devices, particularly focusing on systems for liquid mixture analysis and active ingredient purification. The Chemical Engineer will be responsible for creating concepts and configurations for production plants, specifically within preparative High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) systems. Key daily tasks include developing custom solutions in collaboration with external partners, creating technical drawings (layout plans, flow diagrams), and preparing comprehensive system documentation (qualification documents, operating instructions, test manuals, SOPs). The ideal candidate holds a technical degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Process Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical training with relevant professional experience. Success in this role requires a dynamic, solution-oriented approach, strong communication skills, and excellent proficiency in both German and English.
