Job Summary
This role involves leading international software implementation projects for a mid-sized software company specializing in data and compliance management solutions for research organizations globally. The EU Project Lead will guide clients through the implementation of specialized software for Research Compliance and Laboratory Animal Management, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from planning to successful completion. Daily tasks include analyzing customer requirements, consulting on regulatory compliance, defining solutions, managing resources, and controlling budgets. The ideal candidate possesses a background in Biology, Veterinary Medicine, or biomedical research, coupled with strong project management skills and knowledge of regulatory processes, ideally in laboratory animal science. This position, based in Darmstadt (hybrid or fully remote within Germany), is initially a two-year contract with the potential for permanent employment and requires excellent communication skills in both English and German.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in Biology, Veterinary Medicine, biomedical research, experimental animal husbandry, or a comparable qualification. PMI/PMP certification is beneficial but not mandatory.
Experience
- Professional experience in project management
- Knowledge of regulatory processes and compliance, ideally in laboratory animal science
