Job Summary

This full-time role, situated within the Potsdam Science Park at a family-run biotechnology company focused on improving tumor diagnostics and cancer research, involves hands-on work in organic synthesis. The technician will primarily execute organic synthesis of peptides and inhibitors in solution, ranging from milligram to kilogram scales. Key daily activities include purifying products using techniques such as Flash Chromatography, preparative HPLC, and recrystallization, followed by comprehensive characterization using analytical methods like LC-MS, HPLC, TLC, Polarimetry, and NMR. Candidates must hold a qualification as a Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, or equivalent. The position requires strong organizational skills, teamwork, reliability, and the willingness to work with large glass apparatus (up to 6 liters), offering a secure job with flexible hours and a mix of production and research tasks.
