Job Summary

This full-time role, based in the Potsdam Science Park, involves supporting the production and research efforts of a family-run biotechnology company focused on improving tumor diagnostics and cancer research through innovative peptides and antibodies. The successful candidate, ideally a Certified Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) or equivalent, will be responsible for the organic synthesis of peptides and inhibitors in solution, handling scales from milligrams up to kilograms. Key daily tasks include product purification using techniques like Flash Chromatography, preparative HPLC, and recrystallization, as well as comprehensive characterization using analytical methods such as LC-MS, HPLC, TLC, and NMR. The role requires strong organizational skills, team collaboration, and a willingness to work with large glass apparatus (up to 6 liters). Proficiency in German (C1 level) is mandatory, ensuring effective communication within the interdisciplinary team and adherence to the quality management system.
