Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) to join a growing, family-run biotechnology company focused on advancing tumor diagnostics and cancer research through innovative peptides and antibodies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organic synthesis of peptides and inhibitors in solution, managing scales from milligrams up to kilograms. Key daily tasks include product purification using techniques such as Flash Chromatography, preparative HPLC, and recrystallization, along with comprehensive characterization using analytical methods like LC-MS, HPLC, TLC, Polarimetry, and NMR. The position requires a CTA, BTA, or equivalent qualification, strong organizational skills, team collaboration, and a willingness to work with large glass apparatus (up to 6 liters). This is a full-time position offering a combination of production and research tasks, autonomous work within a quality management system, and flexible hours in Potsdam Science Park.
