Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PLC Engineer to join the Engineering division of Wittker + Partners GmbH on a permanent contract in Leverkusen. The role centers on developing and implementing control systems for machinery, primarily utilizing Siemens TIA Portal for PLC programming. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating new PLC programs, commissioning machinery—which involves on-site testing, troubleshooting, and final acceptance—as well as maintaining technical documentation and training clients on operation and maintenance procedures. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, possesses excellent proficiency in TIA Portal programming, and must be willing to travel approximately 30% of the time.
