Job Summary

This role is for a highly motivated Research Associate, pursuing a doctoral degree, within the Molecular Plant Research/Plant Biochemistry group at the University of Wuppertal. The successful candidate will independently plan and conduct experimental research focused on transport processes, proteins, and sugar metabolism in conifer and deciduous trees. This involves developing and modifying molecular biological and biochemical methods, publishing findings in international scientific journals, and ultimately completing a doctoral thesis. The position also includes teaching duties in Botany. This is an excellent opportunity for a life sciences graduate with strong lab skills to contribute to cutting-edge plant research while advancing their academic career.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Food Chemistry, or comparable fields)
