Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive administration and maintenance of the company's server landscape, primarily utilizing Microsoft technologies. Key responsibilities include optimizing Microsoft SQL Server environments, planning and implementing necessary maintenance work, and managing system updates through robust patch management. You will also be tasked with developing and supervising monitoring systems, acting as the first and second level support contact for internal users. This is an exciting, varied temporary position (approximately 3 months) based in Bern, offering flexible working models and significant scope for independent action and contributing your own ideas to infrastructure improvements.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (EFZ), ideally specializing in System Technology or Platform Development. Certifications in Microsoft Backoffice products are a plus.
Experience
- Solid experience with Microsoft servers and SQL infrastructures
- Knowledge of patch management and monitoring is advantageous
- Professional experience in system administration or platform development
