Job Summary
This role involves supporting the financial operations of Vonovia's district operations unit, focusing heavily on accounting and process optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating balance sheet account reconciliation with accounts payable, receivable, and fixed asset accounting, and assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. The specialist will manage intercompany processes, determine and document accruals and deferrals, and continuously develop and optimize commercial operational processes. Key requirements include a commercial or tax-related background, several years of professional experience in accounting (ideally within energy, multimedia, or metering sectors), and proficiency in MS Excel and SAP FI.
