Job Summary

This role involves executing complex wet chemical and instrumental chromatographic analyses, primarily focusing on the chemical characterization of medical devices using advanced techniques like GC-MS and GC-HS-MS. The Chemist will be responsible for evaluating results, utilizing spectral libraries (such as NIST and Chemfinder), and maintaining rigorous quality management standards by assisting in the creation of work instructions. A key part of the job is supporting the installation and qualification of analytical systems and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and clients. This position requires a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a related scientific field, coupled with several years of professional experience in the chemical characterization of medical devices. Success in this role demands profound knowledge of analytical-chemical methods, experience with specific analytical software (preferably Agilent Masshunter), and excellent communication skills in both German and English.
